How were the Nine titans created?

We have all heard of the nine titans from Eldia. But how did they get there? How exactly was the first titan belonging to Ymir split into the nine parts we know today?

To start with, the first titan is the founding titan of Ymir fritz. To make it easier to understand, let's call this the progenitor titan. This titan was 240 meters tall and was formed Hallucigenia merged with Ymir, saving her life and making her the first titan shifter.

Ymir was the strongest titan shifter to ever exist, with Eren Yeager coming in close. Being the progenitor titan, she had all the powers other titans have along with some extras. she is the one that built the titan bodies for the other shifters from the otherworldly sands in the paths.

In the paths, Ymir could create anything she wanted, without any limit. This was shown when she created chains representing the “vow renouncing war” of king Karl fritz. Ymir also could alter the biology of any Eldian and mess with their memories as she liked.

After Ymir’s death. Her power was transferred to her three daughters Maria, Rose, and Sheena. This is pure speculation, but here’s how I think the powers were divided between the three.

The first of the second generation titans would be the Molding titan. Standing at 120 meters tall, this titan inherited all abilities related to offense and defense along with its massive size.

It has the ability to alter its body composition freely, harden its body at will and create massive constructs with that hardening and release corrosive steam far stronger than the colossal titans.

This titan would likely move slowly because of its massive size but would last much longer in battle than the colossal titan because of its hardening stopping the decay of its titan flesh. It would be later split into the Colossal Titan, the Armored Titan, and the Warhammer titan.

The second of the second generation titans would be the principal titan. This titan would be 50 meters tall and the one to inherit all the abstract abilities of the Progenitor.

It had the ability to adapt and copy the powers of other titans, it could turn Eldians into titans and control them, mess with Eldians memories, see the memories of future inheritors and control the biology of all Eldians.

This was the titan most likely kept in the royal family and used to control the Eldians. It would be slow to move, but still, fast that the molding titan and the colossal titan. It would have complete control over the creation of pure titans and could likely decide the size of the pure titans upon their creation.

It would later be split into the female titan, the founding titan, and the attack titan.

The last of the second generation titans would be the monstrous titan. This titan would be the smallest of them all at 30 meters and would inherit all the animal-like qualities present in the progenitor titan.

It would be an aberrant and have a deformed appearance, walking on all fours with an extended mouth like the cart titan. It would have strong jaws and sharp claws and the greatest endurance of all the titans, lasting the longest.

Its greatest advantage would be its speed. It would be far faster than any other titan and its strong, spring-like limbs would help it move around even faster.

Like the cart titan, the user would be able to stay in their titan forms for extended periods of time and would likely forget how to walk on two legs after exiting the titan body.

Here is where it gets interesting. It is my theory that instead of splitting into three, this titan was instead divided into two titans. The beast titan and what I call the razor titan.

This is because the Jaw titan and the cart titan are too small to be off the same generation as the other titans, with colossal being the exception. They are most likely to be fourth-generation titans.

The razor titan would be the smallest of the third generation titans at 10 meters tall. It would have the strong jaws and claws as well as the endurance of the monstrous titan.

Its face would be elongated, not as much as the monstrous but more than the cart and while would rest on all fours, it would have a hunched shape similar to the jaw titan.

It would be very agile and fast with its jaws and claws being able to cut through the war hammers hardening with ease.

It would be later divided into the 5-meter jaw titan and the 4-meter cart titan.

The nine titans have a long and storied history that would be exciting to explore!
